Budapest New Year

I spent my very first New Years with mummy and daddy in Budapest.

Here I am building towers with mom in our cozy apartment right in the center of town. We had enormous fun in our little East European home...

Every day, we left the apartment and I donned my snow-suit and dog hat so I could sleep on Mommy and Daddy's back. In the sunny cold, I dreamed soundly...

... of turn of the century buildings...

... of mom and me on Heroes Square...

... a night at the Budapest opera...

... gypsies over the Danube...

... the parliament buildings...
... and reminders of Hungary's sordid past.

The freezing cold and dad's caffeine addiction resulted in frequent coffee breaks along the way.

While mom and dad consider the amazing variety of Hungarian Goulashes, I sneak a bite of the local baby cuisine...

Of course, no trip to Budapest is complete without the obligatory dip in their world-famous natural hot springs

Here I am gearing up for the hot baths in my little swimming outfit.

Together, we soaked outside in the hot baths on a Cold Hungarian Winter day...

After a great city-trip in Budapest, we returned home to Leuven. Here I am in my little green chair, mesmerized by another one of daddy's amazing gravity-defying feats of coordination.
